Paramount Pictures released their new Steve Carell comedy flick "Dinner For Schmucks" last weekend, and it definitely delivered in the humor department. Steve Carell really carried the movie as the idiot friend Barry. In an effort to move up in his company, character Tim (Paul Rudd) has to find an idiot to bring to a dinner where his colleagues like to make fun of, and even award who they think is the biggest idiot.
Not too long after the dinner invite, Tim meets Barry who likes to collect dead rats and dress them up. Tim's life takes a crazy turn after he befriends Barry,and it leads to one comical adventure after the other. The finale of the movie is the craziest part. They really went to an area of comedy that only a comedic God could go to deliver. I never realized that Steve Carell could be this funny. I mean, I knew he was funny,but he just took it to a whole different level in this flick.
The film featured funny scenes,which included a character who thinks he can control people with his mind,but really it's just Barry he ends up controlling, a crazy woman who thinks she can communicate with spirits of dead animals, a female puppet that goes around accusing people of trying to look down her dress,and more. The female puppet character really had me cracking up.
"Dinner For Schmucks" movie is a definite one to watch if you want to get your laugh on at a non-stop pace. It really delivers one laugh right after another until the very end.
