I remember when the season began in May on FOX on Sunday, January 15, 2006. I watched the show right before (I mean it was "Family Guy "but do not really remember), and those planned for Season 5 promoted the first 10 minutes this season. I thought I could see 10 minutes see what all the fuss was about.
After 5 minutes I was hooked.
To test the program, my advice is to rent the first disc Season 4. This is my personal belief this season is the best start. It is also the best indicator of what "24" is like, and if both early hours are not involved in the program and then nothing.
If the beginning of season 4 was hooked (it should), then return to the beginning. Start with disk 1 of season 1 and enjoy. Can you force the first two hours, but will be greatly rewarded by the drama that follows along Season 1, and all other stations.
Is hard to miss season 4, what you see, but there are things in season 4 has not obtained the full meaning if you do not return early. Each season is very nice themselves, but to get the full effect, it is best to go in order.
My father and I have been in 2006. After watching all those episodes for me, I know how good they are. My father wanted to try it, and is now engaged. As I write this review, which is in the process of resuming the season 5. You watch two episodes week and continues to call me as we talk about the series all the time. This summer, we saw each of the first four seasons together. I said it could see an episode again, and then had to go to bed. A commercial-free episode is about 40-43 minutes.
Almost every time I said "one more", we saw four hours because the cliffhangers were so good, I could not stop after a while. I was the same this year in college. I say "after this time, I have to go to school at 01 pm 5 episodes later, I would still say, "Ok one more hour, then I go to school." I also did the same thing one of my friends in college. She and I watched all of season 4 and we saw the first 12 hours of the season in one night. This show is almost impossible to escape.
Action infarction 24 minutes it by far the best show on television. Each cliffhanger you mad that you do not want to wait another week to see what happens next.
The show is not flawless. In very rare Sometimes part of the story seems a bit thin, but these moments are so rare and can and should be ignored because they want to see how this will end.
Kiefer Sutherland is the only person who could play the role of Jack Bauer. On the other hand, perhaps it seems that way since I'm used to seeing him in that role. That said, it quickly became my favorite actor.
I would say that their performance blows away everyone in the show, but there is not one actor in the show that I hated. Reiko Aylesworth and Carlos Bernard, Dennis Haysbert and Mary Lynn Rajskub, and everything in between, the share is phenomenal. As with any program involving a large part of violence, characters die. I will not say who or when or how, but there were many amazing players in the program, and just when you think you have caused the death of his favorite, a new person comes is good. I do not think you can find a constant show these actors and the characters sympathetic, but "24" brings the best people for every role, every time.
Some people I know who said it was the series and I did not. These people made a mistake. They saw a half-episode of the season. Due to a season in this program covers a day, and each episode is an hour that day, you can not get a lot of it when they start in the middle of the season. My father tried to get in season 5, and he disliked. A When I tried from the beginning of the season, yes, you've already read. It almost caught me.
My brother liked not the show either, but his problem was he was not interested from the beginning. He felt obliged to humor and give me a shot, but sitting through it, as if waiting for the show to end. Do not try to profit, and he did not.
While trying to see since the beginning of the season, (I suggest starting from 4), and as long as they are open to the possibility of being beautiful, I can not imagine a viewer does not get stuck in the "24". Some characters take time to grow on you. Others have not. Some programs need time to grow on you. It does not work. If you do not, however, find a friend who has the DVD or rent, and start catch up and enjoy "24", the best show on television.
