So your thinking of building your own nest? Maybe for the kids? Why not try the Mighty Ducks movie joke "with ants in the bed? Ok, not so lucky. Anyway, make a "nest" is not as difficult as you think. For children, is something of an adventure to see how ants live in their communities and build each other to live. Children are absolutely stunned by this operation and keep their attention for hours and hours at a time. Ant farms are inexpensive and can be built with supplies everyday.
So we can make a nest, we need sources:
1. Ants, of course.
2. Your bedding (dirt)
3. A reservoir type, maybe even a tank type of thing.
4. Pala (for shots of ants)
(I used one of these when I was younger)
4. A small pot of some sort to collect ants.
Step 1: Place the small bottle or small in the large tank or tank container type. When you use a small pot, which allows ants create tunnels outside of the jar where you can see the place tunnels in the center of everything.
Step 2: Now we must find a nest or a pile of some sort. Use a shovel and dig ants enough to fill his glass a few inches or less from the top. Try to get the majority of ants, more ants or flying ants, and if you can find the queen. Harvesting of eggs or larvae is a white anymore!
After you get your ants you need your bed. For bedding (ground), just pick some of them with the shovel and be careful poured inside of the bottle. Pack all the beds in the business. Note: If your kids are around, you can remove them when the car of one of the ants and / or jar, especially if the ants are "ants" or another type of stinging ants.
Step 3: Water ants using a type of spray or sponge a drop of water. Basically, you can also use a dropper simple, such as those used in chemical projects.
Step 4: Power of ants can be done using small pieces of fruit or vegetables dipped sugar loaf, or even small pieces of broken biscuits.
It is worth remembering:

# 2: The ants should not be able to climb walls, but if for reasons they may have intended to do, you can add a slippery substance to the interior material according to the type container. Example: A Q-Tip of the liquid inside to help keep the ants down.
# 3: To ensure adequate ventilation, would be desirable drilling holes in the top so that all the ants have a lot of air to breathe.
# 4: How to start your ants moving and acquisition of land to nest in their new home, you should discourage anyone to shake or move around the jar. This is a potential problem could destroy the tunnels.
# 5: To enhance your experience, try to add items, hobby-related, like palm Miniatures and other small objects inside the ant farm. This will ensure an extraordinary experience and enjoyable time for you and the kids watch and see the kingdom of the ants.
