Everybody has heard at least one good rock song and from that one song sprouts thousands of fans and hopefuls who want to produce and play that kind of rock music as well. Anybody can become a rockstar if they have the potential and the talent for it. Some who have been working on their music for a long time have their minds set on becoming legendary rockstars, musicians and talents who have made such a great impact on society and music and that their songs are still being played and appreciated even in today's music. Legends are remembered for their influence on people, in future rock stars and rock bands, and even the trends of clothes being sold and bought in the markets. Becoming a rockstar is feasible, but actually making a name for yourself and becoming a legend can be quite the challenge; a challenge that may take years to accomplish.
One way in furthering your career in becoming a legend is to learn from the masters or the Legends themselves. There are a lot of rockstars that have become so popular since their debuts, so let's take a few and learn from their experiences.
The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones are famous for their UK and US albums, some of which include the 1965 single "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "I Wanna Be Your Man", and their 1971 album Sticky Fingers. They are an English rock band and started out in 1962 in London playing bluesy music and even rhythm and blues. They first became successful in the UK and then became known in the United States of America during the British Invasion during the early 1960s. They were able to release at least 22 studio albums, 24 in the States, 17 concert albums both in the UK and US, and have had numerous compilations made. It was in 1989 that the Rolling Stones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and were given the rank of #4 in popular magazine Rolling Stone's list of 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
Jimi Hendrix
Born on November 27, 1942, James Marshall Hendrix was one of the most influential individuals that had made a great impact on today's rock music. He was an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter who achieved fame and success in both Europe and North America. He became famous for his ability and technique on guitar feedback, his experiments on stereophonic and phasing effects, and because of his numerous significant contributions to rock, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
The Beatles
The Beatles were a legendary rock band that began their career in England. After gaining much success they quickly shifted to the American audience where they started the fad called the Beatlemania. It was a time when everyone wanted to follow and pattern the band's music, clothing style, and even their haircuts. Their popularity was so intense, especially because of Beatle member John Lennon's ability to produce heartwarming, deep and beautiful music that talks about politics, liberal ideas, and world peace.
